Brooke is a Hoosier native & events are in her blood. She is a Shelby County resident, where she now lives with her husband, Zach, daughter, Mara Ruby, who is finishing up Kindergarten, & their 3 year old son, Sage. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Franklin College in Spanish & International Relations, & completed her education with a Master’s degree from the University of Louisville in Sport Administration.
She is no stranger to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway either. She started her event management career as an intern in the IMS Marketing Department, traveling the state to various racetracks all summer long. She then went on to manage volunteers for the 2013 PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Course & for the Super Bowl in Indy in 2012. Upon returning back to Indy, Brooke planned large corporate events for the likes of the National Football Foundation, Home Depot, & Allison Transmission to name a few. Later in her career, Brooke planned pharmaceutical corporate sales meetings, advisory boards, & conferences for over five years. She has since founded her own event management business, BNL Consulting, planning mainly for local Indy non profits.
Brooke is also involved in a variety of community endeavors. She currently organizes one of the largest annual Pink Out basketball fundraisers in the state, directly benefitting Indiana Women in Need (IWIN), she is a member of the Triton Central Elementary PTO, coaches FTA cheerleading, sits on the Shelby County 4H Advisory Council , & is the Vice President of the Northwestern Consolidated School District Board of Trustees.
Above all, Brooke's faith, her children & her family are of the utmost importance to her. She enjoys serving on the worship team at their church, Brookville Road Community Church, singing, reading, exercising, learning how to garden, & vacationing in her free time. Their son, Sage, has complex medical needs, so advocating for him is one of her top priorities as well. Brooke is excited and blessed to be a part of the Rev leadership team again this year!
