Growing up working on a small farm in Indiana, Casey learned the value of hard work at a young age. With his family, he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the land and its potential.
He then dedicated himself to serving in a foreign conflict, becoming an Airborne Ranger, and honing his discipline and leadership skills.
After his service, Casey set out to experience the world. He studied in the Far East, immersing himself in the cultures and languages of the region and enhancing his understanding of the political and economic forces at work in the 21st century. Along the way, he volunteered, worked, and traveled in nearly 60 countries throughout Africa, Asia, North, and South America, further exposing a deep desire within Casey to fight for the greater good.
Casey has over two decades of experience in agriculture, military service, and international studies. His philosophies of "Find a Way," "Fight for the Greater Good," and "Continuous Growth" guide him in everything he does. He values emotional intelligence and insight into human behavior and is passionate about promoting sustainable agriculture and helping teams and organizations achieve their goals.
As the Founding Partner at Storehouse Ventures, a network of agricultural leaders in the Midwest, Casey is accelerating innovation in agriculture by providing access to markets, capital, and living labs. Additionally, as an MDLF Fellow at the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation, he is helping build a network of innovators and leaders who refuse to accept the status quo as good enough, constantly aims higher, and execute courageously.
